Lavender, Méouge
The Buëch countries give the Hautes-Alpes their southern touch, which can be found in the warm hues of the Romanesque tiles, the Mediterranean-scented vegetation where lavender and thyme reign.
To the south of Laragne, the Méouge joins the Buëch at the end of the gorges-classed Natura 2000 biological reserve - it has fashioned meanders offering refreshing beaches and water holes to the swimmers and magnificent trails for hikers.
As an indication: 1h30 drive from Gap to Méouge.
The méouge is a bathing place accessible to doggies. Plan the canisacs for the well-being of all!
